Shirley Trauger, Vice President – When she joined Schultz & Williams in 1996, Shirley Trauger brought 19 years of successful development and management experience to the firm. Her prior work with cultural and educational institutions includes heading the fundraising programs at: the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Center, International House of Philadelphia and Moore College of Art (Philadelphia). She was also the Executive Director of Cheltenham Center for the Arts (Cheltenham, PA).

Shirley works with S&W clients to ensure their success and growth through such critical development assignments as preparation for capital campaigns, campaign feasibility studies, and development assessments and plans based on in-depth understanding of the organization’s unique history and situation and of its goals. Her expertise also includes multi-day fundraising training as well as interim staffing of development programs and campaigns. Building a culture of philanthropy within organizations that are just beginning to implement a structured fundraising program is a particular interest.

Shirley’s recent clients include: the Philadelphia Orchestra Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, INROADS, Inc. (St Louis), the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Cabrini College (Radnor, PA), Community College of Philadelphia and Lutheran Community at Telford (PA).

Shirley has a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
